Canada-based firm Research In Motion, released touchscreen enabled BlackBerry Torch 9800 recently in order to compete with high-end devices such as Apple’s iPhone 4, HTC Droid Incredible, Droid X etc. The Torch is different from other BlackBerry released so far as it has a full physical keyboard. The keyboard is sliding. The Torch also comes loaded with a touch pad. The Torch runs RIM’s revamped OS- BlackBerry 6, which is equipped with an interface that’s much easier to use with a touch-screen. The Torch comes loaded with a 5 mega pixel camera and 1300mAh lithium battery.

Apple iPhone 4

The iPhone 4 was unveiled by Apple on June 7 and it went on sale from June 24. The iPhone 4 boasts of a 3.5-inch screen and supports several advanced applications. It has a 5 megapixel camera and HD video conferencing software and FaceTime. The device is priced at $199 and is available on AT&T’s network.

Sprint HTC Evo 4G

The Evo 4G was released by Sprint few months ago and it is the first device to support the 4G network in the US. It boasts of a 4.3 inch touchscreen and is powered by Android 2.2. It has 8-megapixel camera that shoots 720p high-def video. The Evo can also act as a hot spot, which means you can connect the device to five other devices.
