Apple’s September 1 event was awaited keenly not just for its music related announcements but for 2 very highly desired Apple devices, which are yet to make an appearance. First being Verizon iPhone and the second white iPhone 4.

But as you all know the event got over without any announcement about the the 2 and not even a hint was dropped about the devices. Now that the September release is out of question, it is being speculated whether a year end release for iPhone on Verizon is possible or not. White iPhone 4 is already expected by year end as said by Apple itself earlier.

The latest media reports peg Verizon iPhone release in early 2011 possibly January. It is expected to be CDMA verison of iPhone 4 which will come to Verizon network. There are also rumors of the opssibility of iPhone going to more than one networks in addition to Verizon.

Coming to Apple’s event, CEO Steve Jobs unveiled new iPod Touch 4G at the event and the device is already getting rave reviews. Also unveiled were iTunes 10 Ping and new smaller Apple TV in addition to iPod Nano.
