Just hours after pictures of Macaulay Culkin- where he looks emaciated- emerged online, he also skipped out on his monthly DJ gig at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City's West Village on Thursday.
As a result, his fans who has flocked to dance to his music, had to make do with his iPod.
A club employee said, "He's here all the time. Tonight, something just came up and he couldn't make it. But he did drop off his iPod, that's what's playing. It's a shame he's not here, he always plays really good music."
Culkin was scheduled to be at his console at around 10:00 p.m., but his bailing after his gaunt-looking photos cropped up online, added more fuel to rumors regarding his health.
Around the ten p.m. mark, a sign was taped to a box downstairs by the bar, saying that canned goods would get folks in for free, and with no "Mack" in the club,the dancing would be to his pre-chosen tunes.
Culkin's representative said in a statement, "Macaulay Culkin is in perfectly good health. For anyone to speculate or suggest otherwise is reckless, irresponsible and destructive."
