On Tuesday Microsoft launched its new Wireless XBOX 360 Controller which has features like new D-pad that transforms from a plus to a disc.

This new controller will cost $64.99 and will be available from November 9. It will come bundled with the play and charge kit. It have several new features like the color has been changed to gray instead of red,green,yellow and blue. Now the analog stick has a concave design on it with a matte silver color.

The new device was conceived after users complained about the D-pad.  "We've heard from the community that you're not big fans of the D-pad, so the engineers went back into the laboratory and came up with this ingenious solution," said Larry Hryb, Xbox Live programming director in a video demo.

Hybe added that  "It is a revolutionary D-pad that transforms from a disc into a plus with the twist of a hand." It has a "Plus" format therefore it can be used cardinal directional moves,and the "disc" format is intented for sweeping moves.

The controller has 2.4 GHZ Wireless Technology witha 30- foot range. The bundle includes the charge cables with upto 35 hours game play per charge, upto four controller can be used at the same time. The controlller will be released in Europe in the month of February.
