Nancy Pelosi election results : Nancy Pelosi was the first woman in the history of the United States of America who could preside over the House of Representatives as the Chairperson. However, she had to lose her seat though as the control of the House of Representatives went back under the control of the Republican Party once again and her seat was taken over by a Republican congressman.

Pelosi though has no lack of publicity - the media and her opponents must have made millions out of her as she was turned into the scapegoat who served for all those jokes and jests, the cartoons that serve for mockery, the person at the expense of whom hosts of talk shows get their high TRPs.

In real life though, Pelosi is a passionate mother and a compassionate grandmother. Her marriage with her husband Paul has lasted 47 years and is looking darn good for 50. Her her four sisters and a brother have given her the gift of seven wonderful grandchildren.

Her offspring Alexander is a journalist by profession who had been filming the campaigning for the Republican Party whilst contesting for the elections and the film she made of it was called "Journeys with George"

He has also got a publisher credit for Christine's "Boot Camp : Basic Training for Future Leaders". Nancy is allegedly among the richest congress people of the current time.

Her family accounted for a total net worth in the range of twelve and a half million dollars back in 2008 of which most is rolling investment. And that is not all that they are worth; there is more to their milestones of wealth. Nancy and Paul have owned a vineyard for ages as well which in itself could be worth of up to 25 million dollars.

Paul Pelosi has personal value of over a million dollar worth portfolio in shares which include those of Apple. Pelosi was a Political Science graduate from Trinity College of the year 1962.
