The gadget world is abuzz with the talk of latest smartphone hitting the market June 4: Sprint HTC Evo 4G. The phone is getting great reviews so far and is being touted as the best smartphone till now.

So what makes Evo 4G such a huge success even before it hits store shelves?

Well, for one, Taiwan-based smartphone-maker HTC must be given credit for keeping the pricing options of the HTC EVO 4G quite real. The company did not want to confuse customers with different pricing options for picking up a Sprint HTC EVO 4G as a new purchase, upgrade purchase, or no-contract purchase, and that's why it has posted the official retail prices for the upcoming Android phone.

The prices break down is as follows: If you’re buying the phone as a new purchase with an accompanying 2-year contract with Sprint, you need to pay $199.99. If you’re an existing Sprint customer and planning for upgradation, you can get it for $299.99. A contract-free version is priced at $549.99. All orders are shipped through UPS or Fedex, without any charge.

For those of you who don't know much about the EVO 4G, here’s a quick breakdown. The EVO 4G has a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display, much bigger than any other Andriod phones in the market. It has a 1Ghz Snapdragon processor. It has two cameras, a 8-megapixel camera with flash in rear and one camera in front. It runs on Android 2.1 OS and comes equipped with HTC’s Sense UI.

The EVO 4G will become the first 4G phone to ever hit the market. It will hit the market on June 4. Sprint users must be eagerly awaiting the release of the new smartphone.
